Les Miserables part.1

Les Miserables 1 by Victor Hugo

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

this definitely is quite a masterpiece! the characters and the story. political ideas spread all over the book. it's like we feel being part of this battle for liberty, equality and fraternity!
I didn't liked the waterloo battle's description, though.. not relevant for the story..felt totally out of the context.
anyway this book is highly recommended. I had high expectations and loved reading it. 5 stars for this first part.
